THE CAMP
FOR
YOUNG DESIGNERS
WHO WE ARE
Our mission is to give students a community that helps them cultivate their unique creativity and help them discover the many career opportunities
within the multi-disciplined field of architecture.
The Architecture Design Camp is the only comprehensive and collaborative, design-based summer camp for
young creatives (ages 11 - 15) in Cary, North Carolina. Our EIGHT UNIQUE WEEK-LONG PROGRAMS use the discipline of architecture as a way to engage campers in STEAM focused learning initiatives. The Architecture
Design Camp is in partnership with internationally-recognized, award-winning design firm,
Provost Studio and the Spilman Foundation.

We give students the rare opportunity to engage and learn through hands-on workshops, informative talks from working designers, and behind-the-scenes real world look into the design profession. The Architecture Design
Camp also partners with local community organizations, allowing students to DESIGN FOR SOCIAL GOOD.

Our boutique camp allows students to explore the exciting worlds of
ART, ARCHITECTURE, INTERIOR DESIGN & GRAPHIC DESIGN.

No design experience is necessary, just a passion to learn. We welcome youth from all around the Triangle,
in all different stages in their passion for design, to join our creative community and to have some
fun with us this summer!

A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER
While teaching an Architectural Design class (6th-8th grade) in the Wake County public school system as an adjunct instructor, I saw a genuine excitement and enthusiasm from the students working together on the interactive, project-based learning (using architecture as a way to teach STEAM) we were doing in class.

With each student, whose eyes lit up with self-satisfaction as they created something new, I became more and more convinced that we had to find a way to reach more young emerging designers and offer our program to the community.
I sincerely hope your child enjoys their time at our camp. I look forward to seeing their own creative spark ignite this summer."
